Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress. She gained fame for portraying Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). As of 2015, Aubrey Peeples took on the role of Jerrica Jem for the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey has been a member of Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years during her youth. The valedictory speech she delivered was that for her class in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University accepted her but admitted her twice, in order to take on the role she played in Nashville. Peeples was a guest on Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and played a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). She appeared in made for television movies Ace Ventura Jr.: Pet Detective (2009) and The Good Mother. In the second season of The Good Mother, she was a part of Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. Peeples disclosed that she suffers from bipolar disorder in an interview during the 2019 season of NKD Magazine. Indiewire has named Peeples one of the most popular actors aged under twenty years old in September 2014.
